SANY rollers feature in BBS coverage of construction at Gelephu International Airport.
In a report published on 24 November 2025, Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS) reported that nearly 15 per cent of the airport’s earthworks had been completed, four months into construction. Project teams said work was progressing on schedule at that time.
The report described heavy rollers of up to 22 tonnes being used for compaction. The accompanying photograph shows SANY-branded rollers working across the site as crews prepare the ground for airport construction.
